Hello! We are Halla Creative.
Born out of our shared passion for music and design, Halla Creative is a multi-disciplinary studio that specializes in helping artists and bands establish unique visual brands. While not musicians ourselves, music has always played an important role in our creative development: we discovered DIY aesthetics in small venues in the midwest and our earliest creative communities were built alongside touring musicians. Even the name Halla has roots in music; it’s an abbreviation of
STEPHANIE HALLER aka Halla
Creative Director & Designer
Stephanie is a Brooklyn-based visual artist with a passion for helping artists to create a brand that feels like an extension of themselves and their music.
A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Stephanie began her career in fashion, designing for brands like J Crew, Vena Cava and Kate Spade. She began styling for artists and bands on the side, which quickly evolved into full scale creative direction work. In 2015, she joined Five15 management as the in-house Creative Director, producing all creative content for a roster that included viral superstars Us the Duo and Caamp.
In 2019, Stephanie decided to strike out on her own and found HALLA!, a creative agency dedicated to helping artists and bands from all over the world create eye-catching visuals.
When she’s not working or creating themed playlists, she loves cheese, gummy candy, margaritas, and mini pigs.
NICK COLLINGWOOD
Motion Designer & Director of Photography
Nick is a Brooklyn-based motion designer, photographer, and cinematographer with a passion for vintage cameras.
As a freelancer, Nick has worked on a wide variety of projects, including: tv shows, documentaries, whiteboard animations, non-profit campaign videos, app animations, social media content, sports animations, and corporate videos. Since joining HALLA! In 2020, he’s specialized in music and lyric video production.
When he’s not shooting with his Super 8, Polaroid, and 35mm cameras, he can be found biking through Brooklyn in search of inspiration.
